Where does your silence = unintentional compliance

Let's go on a walk together today and chat about how there are SO many times where the "manners" we were taught and/or our fear of confrontation would tell us to just be quiet and "let it slide" when in fact, that is actually ALLOWING continuation and perpetuation of things that we may not actually believe or agree with.

Yet...to those around in that instance who may not fully know us...it can leave them unsure of where we stand. And it will definitely cause them to not see you as a safe space for them....which can have a cascade of detrimental effects depending on the situation/environement.

In this episode, I give you several examples to consider and reflect on where you may be doing something similar, ways to "confront" that will feel better, and some reflection prompts! It is absoluetly (unfortunately) an expectation in society to not rock the boat at all by speaking up in the face of really anything. I say look at it as lovingly using your voice and your power, even in a seemingly small way, to spread kindness in the face of hate.

And in the process, I promise you will become more and more of a safe space for those around you.
